CMCSS calendar

The 2011-12 school year began Aug. 5 with a half-day. Students started their first full day of classes Aug. 9.

This year's parent/teacher conferences for high schools are Sept. 15 and Feb. 9; for middle schools Oct. 27 and Nov. 3, and for elementaries Sept. 22 and Oct. 6.

Here's the schedule for the remainder of the school year.

• Sept. 5: No school, Labor Day

• Sept. 16: Dismiss two hours early

• Oct. 10-14: Fall break

• Nov. 11: No school

• Nov. 14: No school, staff development

• Nov. 23-25: Thanksgiving break

• Dec. 20: Half-day

• Dec. 21-31: Winter break

• Jan. 1-3: Winter break

• Jan. 4: No school, staff development

• Jan. 5: Classes resume

• Jan. 16: No school

• Feb. 3: Dismiss 2 hours early

• Feb. 20: No school, Presidents Day

• March 2: Dismiss 2 hours early

• March 6: No school

• March 26-30: Spring break

• April 6: No school

• May 22: Half-day, last day

High school graduations will take place at the Dunn Center on Austin Peay State University's campus.

Middle College at APSU at 4 p.m.

Kenwood at 7 p.m.

• May 25:

West Creek at 4 p.m.

Rossview at 7 p.m.

• May 26:

Clarksville High at 10 a.m.

Northwest at 1 p.m.

Northeast at 4 p.m.

Montgomery Central at 7 p.m.
