Key spots for bowling, golf, tennis, skating
Bowling
• East Gate Bowling Center, 1770 Madison St. 647-6541.
East Gate has 24 lanes and a pro shop that sells bowling supplies, balls, shoes, and custom bowling ball drilling. The center also boasts a snack bar, lounge, arcade machines, karaoke and Cosmic Bowling.
• Pinnacle Family Entertainment Center, 430 Warfield Blvd. 647-2695.
Pinnacle has 32 lanes, and a pro shop that sells bowling supplies, balls, shoes and custom bowling ball drilling. Additionally, Pinnacle has an amusement arcade, snack bar, sports bar and lounge, and also hosts poker tournaments.

Skyline has 24 lanes, as well as pool tables, darts, a snack bar and arcade.
• Fort Campbell's Hooper Bowling Center, 5380 Tennessee Ave., 431-6347.
Hooper offers 32 lanes, including eight lanes designed for recreational bowling. The center also has a snack bar with plasma television.
Roller skating

Golf
• Eastland Green, 550 Clubhouse Lane. 358-9051.
Eastland Green provides two separate golf courses. The course has a regular 18-hole course and the South Nine that includes just nine holes of golf.
Jim Robinson is the clubhouse manager, while Paul Powers serves as the course's teaching pro.
Weekday play, with a cart, is $28 for 18 holes and $35 during the weekend. Eighteen-hole (after 3 p.m.) play during the week is $25 and $30 on Saturday and Sunday.
There is a 27-Hole Special Monday-Friday where participants can play 27 holes for $35. Nine-hole play on the 18-hole course is $17 during the week and $18.50 on weekends.
On the South Nine, 18 holes of play (with cart) during the week is $24 and $27 on Saturday and Sunday. Nine-hole play during the week is set at $15 and $17 on the weekends.
There is a student discount Monday-Friday set at $20 (18 holes) and $10 (nine holes). A senior discount (60-and-up) is set at $24 during the week.

To play nine holes on the course, the fee is set at $4 for military, seniors and high school students.
The regular nine-hole rate is $7.50. Cart for nine holes for an individual in the military is $8.50 and $12 for civilians.
• Swan Lake, 581 Dunbar Cave Road. 648-0479.
Swan Lake recently had a facelift as the golf course made some renovations this summer. All natural-grass greens on the course were replaced with Champions Bermuda.
Weekday, 18-hole play on the Swan Lake Golf Course is $28 and $25 after 2 p.m. (cart fees included). The weekend rates for 18-hole play is $35 and $29 after 2 p.m.
Seniors (55 and up), city employees and military personnel can play for $22 Monday-Friday.
Swan Lake's course pro is Jeff Vaughn.

Those with a military rank of E1-E5 can play for $22 during the week and $24 on weekends.
E6-and-above can play for $26 during the week and $29 on weekends.
Contractors and retired military are subject to the E6 rate, while civilians can play for $30 on weekdays and $32 on weekends.
Cole Park is an open course that invites anyone in the surrounding communities to play. The course pro is David Normand Jr.

Tennis

The city park offers eight lighted outdoor tennis courts.
Those interested in more specific training can enroll in the Cardio Tennis program as well as tennis lessons for youth and adults of all skill levels.
The tennis courts also have a pro shop open 5:30-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday and Saturday. Closed on Friday. The courts are available on a walk-in basis, and usage fees are free from 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. There is a $4 usage fee, per hour Monday-Thursday from 5:30 p.m.-10 p.m.
Saturdays, the courts are open 7 a.m.-5 p.m., and 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Sunday.

This city park's tennis court is also available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Austin Peay State University, 221-6101.
Eight lighted courts and four indoor courts are located between the Dunn Center and Governors Stadium. The outdoor courts are free to the public.
