. Lucky for revelers, St. Patrick's Day this year falls on a Saturday, March 17. And even luckier, there is a leprechaun's pot of gold at local bars celebrating the day that honors St. Patrick, Ireland's revered Catholic bishop.

With so much green beer flowing, the green tongues will be wagging, beginning at 3 p.m. at O'Connor's Irish Pub and Grill, 1198 Tylertown Road. The pub is named after Thomas O'Connor, said owner Greg Parbs. O'Connor was born in Ireland in 1919, and true to its roots, O'Connor's is offering corned beef and cabbage on the only day of the year that it is made there. Along with ...
