The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System has a focused effort on improving student achievement for the more than 30,300 pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students it serves. After-school programs, innovative approaches in programs like virtual high school and credit recovery, as well as other intervention and transition programs, are designed to give students greater learning advantages and provide them with opportunities to stay on track.
The school offers classes for prekindergarten through high school. Enrollment is limited to 72 students.
Named for Clarksville native and former Tennessee Gov. Austin Peay, Austin Peay State University was established in 1927 with 158 students enrolled the first term.
