City Council

Clarksville has a mayoral form of government with a full-time mayor. Mayor Kim McMillan was elected in November 2010 to her first four-year term.

The Montgomery County Health Department, located in Veterans Plaza, is a 33,000-square-foot facility that offers a wide range of public medical and dental services. The director is Andre Fresco.

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital serves 102,161 active-duty military, retirees and military family members each year, and now has the capacity to perform that mission both on and off post.

Economic Development Council

Established in 1994, the Clarksville-Montgomery County Economic Development Council serves as a private, nonprofit umbrella organization for the Clarksville Area Chamber of Chamber, Clarksville-Montgomery County Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Clarksville-Montgomery County Industrial Development Board. It also helps to implement the goals of the Aspire Foundation.
