  1. LETTER: God's law, man's law part of political considerations

A few days ago, President Obama's statement on accepting same sex marriage has created a storm of protest across the nation. The view expressed by the president is personal, but I am also strongly opposed to it.

  2. LETTER: Family asks for help in fight against ALS

I just wanted to share that May is ALS Awareness Month. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, gives its victims a death sentence without them ever committing a crime. My Daddy, Truman D.

  3. LETTER: Franklin waste plan a bad deal for county

  6. LETTER: Kids' TV shows shouldn't glorify bullying to entertain

  7. Correction to Letter to the Editor

In the May 10 edition of The Leaf-Chronicle, a letter to the editor on the Opinion page was wrongly attributed. H.D. McKinnon did not write the letter titled "Remove most public jobs before unions kill country." The author of the letter is not yet known.
